Helen Carnac

ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Helen Carnac is a metalsmith and academic based in London. As a maker, Carnac is interested in her work being centered self-consciously on the explicit connection between material, process and maker, with an emphasis on deliberation and reflection. Her exploration of industrial vitreous enamel and processes on copper and steel plates is concerned with sustainability, ethics and values within the arena of metals in the global context.
